Curious101 Posted August 9, 2019 Share Posted August 9, 2019 Trying to find out why 3 of us can build catwalks, catwalks with railings and a few other things on a friends map, but if we're playing on one of ours maps (each on a different xbox) we dont have any options for them. Sorry PS4, but I have noticed when you don’t have the resources to craft an item, it doesn’t show up at the front of the crafting options. So two questions. 1) do you have the correct resources to build said object? 2) are you all running current versions for console? Those would be the only two things I can think of that would prevent you from seeing the catwalks. I remember catwalks coming out in a later release so version might be important to check. Curious101 Posted August 14, 2019 Author Share Posted August 14, 2019 Ok, after searching and testing what we found, we have our answer. The map we were playing on was an old one, apparently made before the last xbox update. Even through the game had updated, we did not know the map nor its contents do not get updated to keep from destroying a player's map.
