Make zombies and/or vehicles destroy crops when walked/drived on.

I know this has been done in Spiders survival. This was in A15.2. I do not have any clue about how it was done, but I guess it maybe cannot be done through xml editing.

 

I was also wondering how to add an effect to one of my firesnakes that make everything close to the snake burn. I tried adding the burning ring of fire effect, but the damage was only given to entities and not to grass/crops or blocks.
