7D2D A17 Crashing, Unplayable

A17 won't run on my best gaming PC, although it runs fine on my other (lesser) gaming rigs. I tried creating a new game and connecting to a server all with no luck. I see references to memory issues in the logs but that doesn't explain how it runs on my other PCs with the same amount of memory.

Here are my PCs specs:

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 10.0.17134 Build 17134 x64-based PC

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core Processor, 4000 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Mobo: ASUSTeK Computer INC.

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB

Total Physical Memory 7.98 GB

Available Physical Memory 5.10 GB

Total Virtual Memory 9.23 GB

Available Virtual Memory 4.59 GB

Page File Space 1.25 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Here are the output logs from each crash:

Well to start with you are barely incompliance with the amount of RAM needed. Game needs 6GB RAM and that is the least amount you need. Now what you can do to eliminate RAM as an issue is look at your Task manager without the game running but Steam open. How much RAM is being used Percent wise? If you are using more than 25% of your RAM then you need to clean that up. You have 8GB RAM and the game needs 75% of that RAM to run the game. So what could be happening is your PC is unable to create the map as it runs out of RAM. RAM is your PC short term or temporary memory.

I hope this helps you out. In addition to the above only other thing I can say is have your tried verifying your files through Steam? I usually go in and delete the EXE to guarentee that Steam finds one file missing, sometimes this can trigger it finding other files missing. Has not failed me yet.

Ok did you check the Task Manager RAM usage Percentage like I suggested?

Everything your PC has going on uses RAM. So what could be happening is you have more going on with that one PC then the others. If the RAM is not available then there is nothing that the PC can do.

Other thing is try the Verify files through Steam that could always be the issue. Sometimes you can get an update and miss something in the download. Below is how you Verify.

On your library page with your games listed

1. right click on the game select properties

2. select local files tab 2nd from right.

3. select 2nd from bottom Verify Game files (Forget exact wording)

This process works for any Steam game and usually solved 95% of issues with a game especially after an update. Note this is a Steam issue persay and not involving the game itself when and if verifying fixes things.

I am almost sure based on what you have said this will fix your issue. Good luck hope I helped.

Side note if you took the RAM out of one of the older PC and added it to the better one things may run better, if the motherboards will allow it. Check Youtube for guides. Games run so much better with plenty of RAM and SSD if you can afford one. If you go with SSD make sure your Windows is loaded to it to get the most benefits, loading the game there too will help but Start time for your OS is greatly increased and the PC responds so much better.
