    A more frivolous wish-list item

Being able to choose how big a tree will get when it is planted!

In Real Life we cannot control how big a tree gets, but then trees don't grow to full size overnight and not all planted trees are identical copies of one another. So this is not about realism.

This is just to make pretty bases!

i just took a quick look at Blocks.xml, and it looks like there are a few tree settings that can be changed.
now, i haven't tried this, but a semi-educated guess would be that
"MultiBlockDim" value="1,x,1" (height) and "BigDecorationRadius" value="x" (width)
may be what you are looking for..
keep in mind that if you change those for any particular tree, ALL trees of that particular flavor will take on those
numbers, so if you want just those special trees in your yard and not in the wild, you would have to create new blocks.
and, likely, new special seeds for them..

ALSO... i could be totally wrong here..
like i said, haven't tried it, but that is where i would start..

None of these change which model is displayed.

Actually I'd be happy to just pick one of the tree models in stead of it always growing into the standard one. So basically I imagine press and hold R. Then choose the "model" (size). Then plant one or more of that model.
