I don't think many people are gonna get that joke, but I remember and Salute you. Wait until TFP bring back that zombies attack farm plots... Do zombies attack dew collectors? I can recall "back in the day" setting up 10 campfires on the sides of an abandoned building to call zombies to kill. We would set them all up, load them with wood and perch on a different building and pick them off for xp. Can't recall what version that was, but the ferals could teleport (i don't think literally, but frack they were fast.)

I have a question. I played the A21 a few times and as the "base b!tch" I find that I am at a disadvantage on skilling up and finding magazines since I am not the one looting things. Of course my other players can bring me mags for the skills I need if they find them, but I don't get any bonus for finding mags since I am not the one looking for them. Obviously I do go out and loot a little, but in a typical game, my other 2 players would have looted everything close by the base. Any thoughts other than "get out and loot" since my toon tends to be a bit agoraphobic. Looking forward to the new characters customization in A22

I know this topic says windows 7, but steam is ending support for windows 8 and 8.1 as well. I bit the bullet and upgraded my Alienware from 2009 (yeah tri channel RAM) and it runs Windows 10 just fine. My roomie has a really smoking keyboard that he can no longer use since it has no drivers for windows 10. It is a really cool gaming keyboard with this great layout that we can't find anywhere. "Steelseries Mercboard" or a "ZBoard" in case anyone is curious or knows where I can get windows 10 drivers for it. I really wish there was a way to play 7days offline so I could run MP LAN games when my internet is spotty. Still the best game out there even if I have to MOD to get the FOV I like to play under.

The largest that TFP lets you set it currently is about 85, which helps, but not a lot. I only play with my housemates and none of us use the FOV cheat to ambush each other. I keep hoping they will let us set it manually to something higher before the game is "complete"

I'm a real wimpy player and like a more casual experience. I also get ridiculously motion sick playing the game and I try to eliminate stuff that might make that more frequent (flying objects that make me have to whip around to defeat them) I also don't enjoy playing the bloodmoon since it is an hour of nonstop zombies for very little loot. It isn't worth the aggravation. I'd rather spend more time exploring and finding loot slowly than doing the bloodmoon. I am also a very slow acting player. It is kinda comical having someone comment on how very slow I am at positioning my avatar or trying to target anything. But I love to craft!

I'm intrigued by the DF mod, but I would like to know 2 things. Can I disable vultures/hornets and can i remove the horde days like normal. I just don't like horde days. Hubby normally goes into some xml file and removes the vultures, just wanted to now if doing something similar will work. I read in one of the posts here the DF has an endgame. Is that correct?

Ok, so sometimes (workbench) I might want to make a really crappy claw hammer that doesn't use the larger amount of resources as a higher quality one because the hammer quality doesn't effect the end crafted item.

I have LOTL 3 and I still don't get enough seeds everytime to replant. I harvested 14 corn plots and got back 10 seeds. Now of course that means I had enough corn to make more seeds, but it happens frequently enough that I am always making a few seeds each rotation. Maybe I just have bad RNG. Replanting doesn't take that much time for me, but I am only feeding three people. I have 42 plots at my main base (after recalling that mushrooms don't need a plot or a space next to each other.) Yeah, we do have to eat often, but it isn't gamebreaking.

I am a wimp player. Mostly I hang at the base and only come out when I have to. I do some questing and avoid the fetch or clear quests because I hate to die. That said, if I want a game where I never die, I'll go play stardew valley or farmville or even minecraft. I do die more often in A20 than I am used to, but the danger makes the game fun, otherwise it is just minecraft. If there are no consequences, then you might as well play a game that doesn't encourage a learning curve in order to figure out how to survive. The stamina thing is zombies 101, if you are too tired from running to lift your weapon (which requires stamina) you are screwed. That isn't bad game mechanics, it is a consequence of having consequences in the game. Hubby and I have a combined 8000 hours in the game since like A14. A20 is a natural progression. You know, you can mod the stamina thing, but that takes effort... /endsnark

I am looking for a Host for my 7D2D game. There are 3 of us that play, sometimes a 4th person comes in, but never more than 4. I prefer a smaller map and only run a HUD mod. I want to be able to alter the config files to make small changes to the game (adding a recipe for torches with coal etc). I have a Nodecraft server, which plays well, but with A20 they are recommending an upgrade to the 6G Ram server (29.99). Since I was attracted to their service by the 9.95 price point, upgraded because they said 7D needed more RAM, i'm not really interested in paying 3 times what originally led me there. I can Host locally on my laptop, but that is kinda a pain and not really optimal. I was looking at https://server.nitrado.net/ but I don't know anything about the plethora of new hosts out there. (5.20 USD a month for 4 players). Anyone have a suggestion or can recommend someone? I don't need "instances" or more than 4 slots. Thanks in advance

Confused by the OP post. If TFP didn't intend MP why in the frack do I have to disable the anticheat software? I mean having and anticheat software is specifically for multiplayer, not much point in having it otherwise.
