Making them announce 1.0 might be for a corporate reasons, consoles have finished products sold with dlc released after that further in time. Having an early access version of this kind of game could bring uncertainties in console game community, or could be forbidden by rules. I think it is sort of a solution of what we have as situation here by renaming EA, Alpha to 1.0. For me it is just words changing, not the further development of the game or the experience that we will have in 7 days to die

There is lots of stuff to do before dlcs and that is what is happening in latest alphas. We can see the result. Of course, there could be free time to work on future content that can be called dlc, but trust me, future dlcs are not above on the list than what they work on now. P.S. The new model of Grace is pretty nice, can only imagine the smell, but looking at the poor passed out chicken right next to it I suppose is pretty darn strong. Props to the team doing the new models, you guys rock !

About cars on the roads, we had some issues while driving around to have them spawned just in front of us, not only them but different assets also. Is the view distance gonna be reworked in A22 ?
