  1. I can't wait to fire up the console and see that 7 days to die alpha 22 coming up! It's been forever. Who's still here from the O.G days?
  2. Oh man, we all get it. We do, It was the way it went about. The PR is horrible. You're gonna get people who fanboy the crap outta developers and you're gonna get the ones that think everything should be free and immediate. what they did though, was full on corporate bully. Instead of releasing a mention publicly, they once again (RE: console), hid all of their business because there is zero transparency (once again, not arguing they can't do it, just mentioning the consequences of) and just went and took action on people THEN mentioned it. They just confirmation biased a whole section of casual players of the game. This type of behavior is very damaging to a business, and yes, they can do what they want. I'd 100 percent like to call out your phrasing " TFP has put out many updates at no extra charge and they expect mods to be at no extra charge as well" IF they charged for Alpha updates after people buy into a alpha that's lasted this long, they wouldn't exist as a company. That phrase is 100 true when the game is considered complete, runs well and all the original kickstarter features are in. No man's sky can say that, TFP can't. Alpha updates aren't free updates, they're part of why you bought into an alpha. The game's not even complete. you can't call finishing it free updates. And no, Mods shouldn't charge for access, we've seen TFP work with Modders before on this issue. If the developer of MM will full ignored the warnings, that's on him. Love ya. Missed ya. edited because i put everything into the quote.
  3. Doing a video but want to get my facts right. Who's the team working on console development? I hear they're also working on other functions as well, and what those are?
  4. Finally made that video https://youtu.be/DAFO7eRT2fQ Linked to this forum post on it.
  5. Thanks for the fun mod! Did a quick preview video, Going to make a full length one for next weekend. Gop
  6. I can assure you I don't do this, but I agree, it does cater to the low brow, but like you said, you can tell of they're going to do it from the personality streaming. Just don't watch it?
  7. Not to mention he was running a 3080 on 1080p and wondering why there was little difference. The video is really flawed. well done, but flawed big time.
  8. I feel this is only a thing to people who know guns, everyone else is playing a walking dead aggressive corpse game. Pretty sure the fun pimps felt the apocalyptic look and feel appealed to the majority of the players, rather than the ones who are gun enthusiasts. Personal experience, out of the 1000's of comments I've gotten since release, not a single one has complained about how the guns aren't realistic enough, lots of complaints about game play though, esp the farming and blocks. I personally think it's something you're going to have to live with, it is a game after all, not a simulator, and I can find a enthusiast in every field to complain about every aspect of the game that isn't realistic enough. If you want to argue about guns being realistic, you gotta argue it all, you have a magically powered turret you can put down, you have zombies that spit fire and acid. ect ect. don't mean to pee on your party here, just giving some viewpoint from the other side. It's just in the end, it's a zombie game. just enjoy it. I hope this brings understanding to you on why people don't care about a rusty weapon in the apocalypse. They are playing a game, and don't care about realism or the weapon they are using is 100 percent accurate. I also prefer the new weapons. I def don't play 7 days to die as a real life survival simulator, it's a open world tower defense zombie survival game.
  9. I'm actually really enjoying feral sense, its so much easier to root zombies out into the open too!
  10. lol you act as if the people who announce it don't have a reputation to upkeep as well.... if they don't, well they aren't big enough to make that sort of impact in the first place. I don't think you really understand the industry my friend.
  11. Some announced, some released a video by accident instead of scheduling it waiting for official notice. Those who did I'm sure will explain the folly to their followers. Don't get all yer panties in a knot guys, it's a awesome video game, but in the end, it's still just a game I'm excited as everyone else, which lead to my hasty error uploading my video. It's actually been unlisted until official notice 😛 Just waiting on the official statement hopefully today to either make it public again, or explain my error (which is also posted in the pinned comments, if you've accessed the video) It's still Capp's fault.
  12. lol, had the video sitting there unpublished in anticipation, went to schedule it instead for tomorrow evening for the algorithm (pending confirmation). selected publish instead, we'll see what happens lol. I did put a disclaimer in my pinned comment.
  13. *vastly. I couldn't imagine trying to keep current version to par with the ps4. that thing was outdated when it was released 7 years ago. People forget the ps4 is the equivalent to a decent 10 year old gaming system with a weak cpu. edited because I didn't know how to do replies right
  14. Just wanted to clear the air that it wasn't me spreading a rumor, it was people hearing what they wanted to. just doing my job and reporting things I see. the whole title "do they know something we don't know?!" is actually a joke... lol.
