In every single version on both PS4 and PC, in every playthrough, the top left inventory slot was always glass jar slot. I keep it empty completely now in loving memory of them (not really but the first sentence was true) 😃

- Kinda miss fertilizing the ground and the satisfaction of setting up a farm the old way but dont hate current way either. - I liked the gun parts system and slowly upgrading your gun and maintaining them separately. Hated finding gun safes and only getting parts somewhat though a mix of parts and full guns wouldve been ideal for me - Upgrading and getting a better quality minibike and feeling the speed boost once you did. - LBD was fun but dont hate current -More outdoor zombies (I know i can mod), Inside was safe before now its safer outside which is weird to me. Even though I hated when you arrived at big POIs you'd just get a horde all stand up at once was bad gameplay, IF they could get hordes to tie to big POIs and wander close to it currently that would be amazing - HUGE wandering hordes that were happening during I think Alpha 17 Experimental, was super fun. They are just wandering small packs now, though i love the "packs" of military, dog, and even vulture flocks that can get thrown at you later now. - I half miss the old zombie AI where hordes just wasnt a game of funnelling them. I remember building a small castle in A16 and they were just bashing from random sides and random spots, they were dumber/worse AI but they felt more like zombies. -Being cold in the snow, killing a lumber jack and taking his jacket. In fact all themed drops were cool (nurse dropping medical, lumberjack axes, cowboy revolvers. really feel it was a cool element)

Yeah i definitely didnt follow the "set path" for this POI and broke some doors, first time doing this POI tier 5(Vanity Tower) so was exited and didnt follow the set path because i got lost sometimes and pushed back far by tough enemy waves other times. I had to re scour the poi for enemies and was happy to see the final zombie cache marker only for this to happen. =( I would think that if the set path was that critical to the quest working maybe they should have unbreakables to prevent this but also wasn't aware of the bug. Wont be gifting myself a tier 5 item because i was kinda anticipating what my first tier 5 reward would be. Prob will giveselfxp 10k and move on.

Hello was doing a ques t and came across this annoying feature, had the yellow marker show to tell me last area to clear but went there and marker is 1.0M but nothing is there, scoured the POI again and still nothing... 2 hours wasted.. Tried KillALL in the area but it only seemed to kill zombies outside. Is there a command to intsa finish quests like this, Even though i exited the game and would have to do it again.. https://ibb.co/6DYRWqW

I like it and as someone said its activity not heat, at my non horde base i almost have no reason to make defences because its so quiet. bring on some action and a reason to make defences for it

For T5 quest i usually like to start them during the night so i clear out the easier floors of the POI during night time and it goes into daytime as i progress up onto the higher/harder floors. Unless its wasteland where i start day because nights there can be hell if you attract too much attention, then damage stairs/pathways up so the wasteland hordes cant get to me once it changes to night.

Alpha 16 was superior in this aspect (and quite a few others imo) they wiped out the wow factor and added a meh factor. (less predictable) Zombie AI was more realistic and interesting (less predictable) Learn by doing felt better (more immersive) Mining was better (Harder, {Less predictable}) Graphics are alot better now tho wahey, but thats why I avoid AAA games alot, because they focus too much on how things look and less on... fun moan over

Similar idea ish would be to add a repair mode to the drone, put materials in its storage and it goes round and repairs blocks that match the mats you put in abit like those auto hoover/vacuums. Perhaps a mod for the drone so you can see it repairing with a little blowtorch/ hammer attachment 😃

Warning alarm 15min before nightfall

Hello I’ve always used PS4 pad for my pc wired and ps4 prompt icons were always there. Got a Bluetooth dongle for it as connector was wearing out and can connect to controller and use no problem and on steam it identifies it as PS4 controller in controller settings. but in game I’m getting XBox prompts and not PS4 and only thing I’ve changed is wired to wireless. Am aware pc thinks it’s an Xbox pad because of being something to do with Microsoft better compatible with Xbox pad but as said never had problems with it wired. Is there a mod for ps4 buttons or a way to make ps4 prompts for my current setup? changing “ps4 support “ in steam setting changes pad from working/not working. Any ideas?

Used my PS4 pad ever since i switched to PC version about 4 years ago, never had a problem, even flying the gyro. The stutters I fixed by making a thread in support and changing some settings.

Hello thanks for all replies, ive played around with the settings using the advice given and am now running at 70-80FPS with no stuttering. Ive never even had the game run above 60FPS before now but it was the stutters that were the main issue for me and they are now gone. Given up on GeForce experience, I've never attempted to use it before now and since it cant even find 7D2D anyway Ive pretty much binned it 😃 Ill post the settings im using now since I notice stuttering isn't an uncommon topic around here and maybe they will help out someone in the future searching this with a medium ish spec PC 😃

Hello all thanks for replies, sorry about my saltiness in the previous post but it really @%$#ed me off. Your idea worked Beezl, i did try DM previously to this, but the game is frantically trying to position you so it was a no go BUT im already an admin so didn't think to try ctrl click on map and it worked! Sadly i only had about 15 seconds per attempt before crash and it took me 3 tries so it put me into radiation zone, but i went back there with god mode and hex edited the death out so im back to happy and will now be trying your ideas to help with the stuttering. Very much appreciated
