  1. I just finished creating a new version of this mod for A21 b317. I tested it a bit and it seems to work fine but I don't have time right now to do exhaustive testing. I haven't seen any errors when loading up the game world and the previously working vending machines are showing as "jammed" and lootable. Broken vending machines are still broken and do not contain loot (same as before with previous versions of this mod). Vending machines become their broken versions once all loot is removed to help give a visual clue that they have nothing left in them and allow you to wrench down the machines for parts. You can find the mod on google drive
  2. Sorry for the lateness of my reply. I have created an updated version which I tested with A20.7 and it appears to be working fine now. You can find the updated version on google drive
  3. I've created a modlet to switch vending machines to loot containers for added realism. The premise being that nobody is going to run around restocking vending machines every day during a zombie apocalypse, and nobody is going to put coins in the machine when they can break it open instead. The loot in the vending machine is the same type of items you would get if you were to purchase from it in a vanilla game - canned food, drinks, and candy. Simply install the modlet (copy the folder from the zip to the Mods folder of the game) and restart the server/game. The modlet modifies the existing blocks so you do not need to generate a new map or do anything special other than the restart to pick up the changes. I've tested this on A19.1 only, and I'm pretty sure it will not work on A18 or older versions. I think it should work fine on A19.0 but I haven't tested it. Enjoy! Lootable Vending Machines Mod.zip
  4. Damocles, Thank you very much for putting so much work and care into this amazing map generator. I absolutely love the degree of control it gives me over the map. I really enjoy the added realism of having certain POI separated from cities and towns in a more logical manner. So again I can't thank you enough for creating such a fantastic tool. It's obvious to tell you've put in a lot of time to create Nitrogen and you deserve a great many kudos for it. Another reason I'm writing is that I had a thought for a possible enhancement: Currently a user selects biomes from a menu, but I would really enjoy being able to select biomes using checkboxes. For example I want to try a map that is wasteland + burned or perhaps wasteland + burned + desert. I'm hoping that implementing this enhancement wouldn't be too difficult. Another idea, which I believe would be more difficult, takes this a step further by allowing the user to select not only which biome(s) they want but also how much of the map is covered by that biome (perhaps by using slider controls similar to the way the user selects the landscape). I completely understand that you're busy and that you're working on Nitrogen as time permits. I hope you will consider my suggestions, but even if you don't find the time to implement them Nitrogen is still a magnificent program. Honestly it deserves to be integrated into the game, it's just that good. Thanks for your time!
