  1. I think I might have experienced this. I thought maybe it was just in my head after riding in my wife's supercharged truck, but after seeing this post, maybe I'm not going crazy...
  2. STR (reproducible every time, easily) 1. host a local (not server) multiplayer game 2. have someone join 3. have the other player get an abrasion 4. spawn in or create a healing bandage 5. target the other player from nearby 6. right click Expected Result other player is healed (this works) and debuff replaced properly (this doesn't work) Actual Result other player is healed, but the debuff remains Comments Also worth noting, the animation makes it look like you are bandaging yourself. I am hoping this is not a bug in itself, but just a placeholder animation until they get a chance to add a proper one.
  3. Hey, I know this isn't your bug, but I wanted to follow up to let you know that I reported this to Tobii and they have released a new version of their "game hub" software (v3.1.0) to resolve this issue. Not sure if you care, but you might want to put out some sort of communication about it. I'm telling you because far as I can tell, they haven't put out any public communication about the fix, and their software does not appear to have any 'check for updates' functionality. You have to go to their website and manually download the new version to get the fix. So, I'm assuming I'm the only person who knows about this since they emailed me to let me know they were closing the ticket as fixed. Anyway, it probably only affects about 0.001% of your player base, but those people could have a slightly better experience in your game if they know to update the Tobii "game hub" to v3.1.0. Regarding the fix, it looks like they just hide both arms from the viewport when you reach a certain threshold of how far up you are looking.
  4. No, this has been going on for years, it has nothing to do with eye tracker or any mod or 3rd party add on. I didn't grab a SS last time I saw it, but I can next time.
  5. @tsbx I retested this without the eye tracker and it is easily reproducible. This definitely is a bug in the vanilla game. The only thing the eye tracker does is make it happen more often. If you look straight up in a vanilla game when you hit the max limit of how far you can look up, your right hand/weapon disappears and your left arm flails up onto the screen. This can literally be reproduced in less than 2 seconds once the vanilla game is loaded up, with no mods or 3rd party anything. The only caveat is for it to be blatantly obvious, you need to be holding something in your hand (torch or stone axe, for example). It still happens without anything in your hand, but only a little bit of the arm shows on the screen, it is mostly invisible. With something in your hand, the entire arm shows and covers half the screen.
  6. based on the feedback from my other post, this can be ignored. apparently eye tracker is not supported, even though they claim to be.
  7. sorry i thought it was supported. i guess i'll take it up with Tobii. may as well delete my other report as well then if the eye tracker code isn't written by TFP. thanks.
  8. Summary: fake terrain walls in local multiplayer Game Version: A21 b324 OS/Version: Windows CPU Model: intel i5 12400 System Memory: 32 GB ddr4 3600 GPU Model and VRAM: nVidia RTX 3070 Screen Resolution: 1440p Video Settings: High Game mode: MP host (99.9% sure it still happens as MP Guest as well) Did you wipe old saves? Yes, fully wiped game and data folders Did you start a new game? Yes, fully wiped game and data folders Did you validate your files? Yes, fully wiped game and data folders Are you using any mods? No EAC on or off? Either Status: NEW (this has occurred for several years/alphas but I didn't see it in the known issues) Bug Description: fake terrain walls randomly appear in multiplayer games Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) start a MP game as host 2) have second player join game from same local network 3) play for a while... not sure exact steps Actual result: (description of what is occurring) giant walls that look like the terrain (grass, dirt, etc.) appear in the world, especially in POI's. you can run through them, but can't see through them. greatly hinders play. Expected result: (what you expect to occur) should never see fake terrain Link to Pastebin Output Log: https://pastebin.com/FZKN8H8i
  9. Summary: flickering UI with eye tracker auto-hide Game Version: A21 b324 OS/Version: Windows CPU Model: intel i5 12400 System Memory: (32 GB ddr4 3600) GPU Model and VRAM: nVidia RTX 3070 Screen Resolution: 1440p Video Settings: High Game mode: tested w/ SP and MP host Did you wipe old saves? Yes, fully wiped game and data folders Did you start a new game? Yes, fully wiped game and data folders Did you validate your files? Yes, fully wiped game and data folders Are you using any mods? No EAC on or off? Either Status: NEW Bug Description: flickering UI when values are updated while auto-hide is enabled note: I am using the Tobii Eye Tracker features Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) start a game with Tobii Eye Tracker Auto-Hide UI feature enabled 2) be looking away from the edges of the screen that house UI elements 2) do something to make a bar/counter in the UI change (spend stamina, gain xp, etc.) Actual result: (description of what is occurring) flickering on whichever UI element is changing at the moment (stamina going up or down, or XP bar going up, for example) Expected result: (what you expect to occur) UI should either be visible or hidden, depending if you are looking at it or not. There should be no flickering. IMHO: Either make it visible while it is moving, regardless of whether you are looking at it, or make it only visible if you look at it, regardless of whether it is moving. 10. No EAC on or off? Either Status: NEW Bug Description: weird left arm animation when looking up note: I am using the Tobii Eye Tracker features, not sure if it is related. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) start a game 2) look up/go up a ladder Actual result: (description of what is occurring) left arm flails about strangely when looking up or climbing Expected result: (what you expect to occur) shouldn't see left arm just from looking up, and IF you see it when climbing it should look like it is climbing Link to Pastebin Output Log: https://pastebin.com/EgBzfaHc Link to YouTube Video:
