  1. Thanks for the reply! After reading your manifesto, I completely get why resetting a character after x amount of deaths does not fit with Mostly Dead's playstyle. I am currently playing Ravenhearst and am only toying around with this idea for myself. Ravenhearst is so brutal already... giving myself a few lives before a reset seems "fair". Hahaha I think I have figured out how to add this feature for myself. I'd have to adjust for Ravenhearst's altered starting quests as well and likely a few other things. Your mod is well documented and easy to sift through so, I think I can pull this off!?? Hahaha... I'm super new at XML stuff but I absolutely have a ton of fun figuring out how make things work! I am looking forward to the Survival Stories. Anything that makes you feel like you are "there" is always going to be a mod that is added to my game.
  2. Hi khzmusik, Mostly Dead looks very interesting and am wanting to give it a go! I do have a couple of questions: How well will this work with overhaul mods like DF and RH (mostly interested in RH but do play both) Is there a way to setup Mostly Dead so that your character resets after X amount of lives? Thank you!
  3. Hello everyone, I had thought it would be easy to find a modlet that randomizes the walking animations for each zombie but, all I am able to fins is Sphereii's Transmorgrifier. Anyone know how to pull this off with just xml? Or perhaps know of a modlet that does this?

  6. If I have a modlet that requires changing some of the existing localization text, how do I go about it? I've tried adding a localiazation.txt within my mod's config folder with the changes. For instance, the following line is in the vanilla localization file: quest_BasicSurvival8_subtitle,Quest,Quest Info,,,Build a Campfire,,Mache ein Lagerfeuer,Enciende una fogata.,Construire un feu de camp,Costruisci un falò,キャンプファイヤーをおこす,캠프파이어 건설,Zbuduj ognisko,Faça uma Fogueira,Сложить костер,Kamp Ateşi Yak,点燃篝火,生營火 I want to change "Build a Campfire" to "Build a Firepit" I tried adding the following line to my localization file but this did not work: quest_BasicSurvival8_subtitle,Quest,Quest Info,,,Build a Firepit,,Mache ein Lagerfeuer,Enciende una fogata.,Construire un feu de camp,Costruisci un falò,キャンプファイヤーをおこす,캠프파이어 건설,Zbuduj ognisko,Faça uma Fogueira,Сложить костер,Kamp Ateşi Yak,点燃篝火,生營火 I know I can just do the following in xml using xpath but, I sure would like to know how to do the same via the localization file: <!-- <property name="subtitle_key" value="quest_BasicSurvival2_subtitle"/> --> <property name="subtitle" value="Craft A Firepit"/> Thanks in advance for any guidance!
