  1. Oh yeah, I agree, it's definitely on me, particularly that A20 playthrough I did. I guess it comes down to, at least in part, my own personal issues with A20. If I enjoyed it more, I would have probably felt less locked into "racing to endgame" than I otherwise would have.
  2. Alpha 8 I think was my first Alpha. I was almost immediately hooked, 5 minutes after I started playing I knew this was gonna be a game I'd play the hell out of. And I've done that... hehe.
  3. It's a fair statement to be sure, but then part of me just can't help doing things the most efficient way possible.
  4. Yes, on my (admittedly short) playthrough of A20, I felt locked into: 1. Get quest from trader. 2. Loot POI treasure room. 3. Reset POI via the quest. 4. Loot POI treasure room again. 5. Return to trader for reward. 6. Goto 1. It just seemed like the fastest way to loot up (and XP too).
  5. Hooray! I so couldn't agree more, stay in endless Alpha with endless with extra content I reckon!! If I keep getting a more developed game in the Alpha process I never want it to leave Alpha!
  6. canadianbluebeer, No didn't try that one out. Naz's one however works so we're using that now, and it expands the backpack by much more (which we wanted). Funnily enough, this'll probably be our last A16 game - for the few advantages it has over Alpha 11, Alpha 11 game play still rules supreme, especially with all the modifications I've made to it over the years.
  7. Yeah, used the modlauncher when I tried Classic Hardcore Survival on my brief play with A20. Didn't realise though it had mods going back to A16, so thanks for that info, I'll check it out sometime, though my friends and will revert to a new A11 game once we finish this run through on A16.
  8. That came in, in a much bigger way with Alpha 16. My Alpha 11 is, I think, VERY heavily modified to extend the game play and make exploration both much more necessary and easier to, but it's all XML edits (apart from a couple of AsssemblyCSharp.DLL edits), because mostly that's all we could do back then. I'd be perfectly happy to share it if anyone asked for it, the basic mods being to extend exploration, ore use, armor and tool tiers, a completely reworked RWGMixer along with other stuff like insanely dangerous cities. I could be more detailed about if anyone wanted to try it out.
  9. I gotta say, we find A16 much better now - though my very heavily modified A11 build is still our tops. I'll make sure to keep these mods available in case anyone else down the track wants A16 with proper inventory. Just PM me any time to grab my attention.
  10. Good deal - post a link whenever you're ready and I'll make sure that your ones, along with Naz's ones go on my NAS device for long term safe keeping. Never again will we play A16 with 32 slot inventories - hehe.
  11. Naz' one works! 🙂 Stallion - if you can link your ones as well, I'll grab a copy of those for safekeeping too if you like.
  12. Thanks Naz, trying it out now. Stallionsden - either would be great. Will post results of Naz' one first.
  13. Gamida, Thanks for the files, but no, they don't work. Apart from the fact there's no modded AssemblyCSharp.DLL (which tells the server about the larger backpack), the XML wouldn't load properly either. Thanks anyway. I just hope eventually Khaine sees these messages.
  14. We dont have a discord server unfortunately. Could you put them on Dropbox or something of the like? Also PM'ing you my email address in case you're willing to email them to me.
