I attempted to load the game about 20 times before I posted the bug report. On the first attempt after I posted, I logged in just fine. I had verified my files roughly 5 attempts before that so I really don't know what changed.

Yes Did you start a new game? Yes Did you validate your files? Yes Are you using any mods? No EAC off Status: NEW Bug Description: The game says that it can't connect to the Epic Online Services Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) Start the game 2) ... 3) Sadness Actual result: Textures load up and then I get the error, before I reach the main menu. Expected result: To get to the menu I played in SP a few hours ago, nothing out of the ordinary happened, I logged off normally. I tried several times to load up the game, or to "retry", to no avail. I can't even play in offline mode.

I am playing on multiplayer with the same friend all the time. It is possible that I've installed some traps while being alone in the game. I'll also add the info that I'm the only one who has manipulated the traps in our game. I also picked up a 5W trap and put it back down to see which trap I'd get and it became a 10W trap.

I do not play with any mods. I do not have any motion sensors or other traps installed. Only a few power banks, some switch and electric relays. Maybe the ones that cost 5W were damaged during a horde. I don't see how that would factor in but that's literally the only thing I can think of.

I have some dart traps that only cost 5W (maybe 8 out of 60) instead of 10W. The 5W ones allow me to choose the targeting, not the 10W ones. I have no idea why it's not the same type of dart traps, can anyone help me figure it out?

Any progress on finding the source of the bug? Some added info: I seem to get locked out of a few games whenever the EOS isn't working, not just 7 Days. (Satisfactory and Frostpunk being the other 2, all of which uses the EOS) I get a feeling that it's on them and not on you or I to fix the issue since there has been multiple reports about it in the past 3 years.

Any progress on finding the source of the bug? Some added info: I seem to get locked out of a few games whenever the EOS isn't working, not just 7 Days. (Satisfactory and Frostpunk being the other 2, all of which uses the EOS) I get a feeling that it's on them and not on you or I to fix the issue since there has been multiple reports about it in the past 3 years.

After loading into the game we were on day 3, the same moment we logged off, but I was loading in with a virgin account it seems, no map discovered, no bedroll on the ground. Yesterday the menu was loading fine, multiple times during the day, I also got to play 3 days with a friend while I was hosting the game. Today I couldn't get the menu to load even after restarting my computer and verifying my files. I also tried connecting to my EGS app since there are mentions of it being faulty in the logs I already sent. After those failed attempts, my friend loaded a new game. Once he was fully loaded in the game it took a bit of time but I finally got the option to join directly from Steam's friend panel, but once I clicked on it I saw on my game that it was "attempting to connect to my friend (press esc to cancel)". So I pressed esc and I got the menu to appear. Hope this helps. https://pastebin.com/AuTpc2vQ
